Mr. Herzberg is our other Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University professor. Through his vast history in flight instruction and working in airport operations at Palm Beach International Airport, he teaches the knowledge of flight to future pilots, ranging from sophomores to seniors. At the end of his private pilot class, students have the opportunity take the Private Pilot Written Exam for free, one of the requirements for getting a private pilot license. He shares many real-world experiences during his career that helps bring understanding to what it's really like in that career, areas where a textbook will not explicitly cover.

Mr. Hunt is our brand new professor here at BASA. He teaches mainly first-year students in Aerospace Technology 1 and 2. These classes introduce flight to the students, creativity, and engineering. Throughout the course, these students will build rockets, create programmed cars, and build underwater robots known as SeaPerch. These classes prepare the students for the strict, dual-enrollment courses and give them time to think if this is a career they want to continue. Although he is not an Embry Riddle professor, his skills and knowledge are exemplary, and he often works with our Robotics Club for our competitions.
